If this is your first trip to North Captiva get ready for a wonderful adventure!
How do I get to the Island?

If you are coming from a driveable distance, you can park your car for your entire stay at the ferry drop off location on Pine Island. (there is a charge for overnight parking) If you will be flying to Florida you have the option of renting a car and leaving it at the parkng area or your transportation to the island can be arranged by mini-bus from the Fort Myers Airport (RSW.) (see directions) The ferries run frequently throughout the day but there is a charge for each return to Pine Island. (there are usually not too many good reasons to go back and forth.)

How do I buy groceries?

You have a couple of options. If you are driving, you can stop at either Winn Dixie or Publix on the way and your groceries will come with you on the ferry to the Island.

I usually fax my order ahead for a 10% surcharge, so it is ready to go

If you are being transported by one of the transp. vehicles, you can fax your order ahead to one of the grocery stores and your van will stop for a pick up on the way. The groceries are "boat bagged" so that they will stay fresh and cool until your arrival at your North Captiva home
Is there internet service on the Island?

Yes our home is equipped with Wifi. You can also get internet service at the Island Club pool and clubhouse.
