North Captiva is a world away from
the bustling Florida tourist destinations.
There is never a lack of activities to do on the island. From setting out on the water with kayaks or water skis, to experiencing the diverse fishing, to exploring the nature of the island by foot or by golf cart, or simply being alone ( and we do mean alone) with friends and family on a deeded access beach watching magnificent sunsets. The island itself may be small, but the list of things to do, if you choose, is not at all. If you like, though, Disney World is only 4 hours away and Miami's South Beach is within a 2 hour driving distance.
